Welcome to the Hard Place Band Website!
We hope you will enjoy discovering something about the band whether you are here having seen us play or are thinking of booking us for your function. Here’s the scientific bit. We’re a seven piece band: sax, trumpet, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, drums and two female singers.
We are a band that really enjoys playing our music whether it’s from the forties and fifties rhythm-and-blues tradition, from the soul explosion of the sixties and seventies or even good songs from the charts ( they have to be good good to get into our repertoire! ). Audience members frequently comment on the fact that we have so much energy and laugh a lot as well. We figure that if we enjoy what we do, the audience will as well.
